Today we read Take Off by Ryan Ann Hunter and illustrated by Edward Miller. We learned about different kinds of flying transportation along with some of the fastest airplanes that have been made. During our sensory and science activity, we built ramps with things that we could find in the classroom. We had ramps that had a very tall ramp to it so that cars would roll down really fast and some other shorter ones make the cars go slow. Then we used or fine motor skills to place magnetic gears onto cookie sheets. We placed the gears near each other and turned them in circles. For our math and cognition activity, we counted transportation vehicles on our counting clip cards.
