Today, we had our Holiday Party! We had so much fun dancing and singing for our families! Next, we got to make trees with glue, pom poms, tissue paper, and pipe cleaners. The trees turned out fabulous. Then, all of our friends got a chance to meet SANTA! Some friends told Santa what gifts they want and others just listened to what Santa had to say. Thank you so much to our friend Larry with the OATS bus for providing Santa with some transportation! We had such a fun time! Later, we will play some reindeer games and talk about what we are doing during our Winter Break, and then it will be time to go home for the holidays.

Happy Holidays from all of us at CLC! We will see you in the New Year, January 4th!

Happy Thursday! We are having a jolly week full of holiday fun! Today we read the book Mrs. Wishy Washy's Christmas by Elizabeth Fuller. In this book, Mrs. Wishy Washy wanted her animals to take their Christmas baths in the cold icy water but they decided that it would be better to take a nice warm bath inside the house. For our first activity we did math and cognition. For this activity we cut and made branches on our triangle trees. For our next activity we did sensory and science. For this activity we made play dough holiday shapes. We had snowflakes, stars, and trees! Lastly, for our fine motor and literacy activity, we cut out our holiday trees. We are getting very good with using our scissors!

~Important Upcoming Dates~

CLC will be closed December 20th through January 3rd for our Winter Break.

We will resume session on Tuesday, January 4th.
