Today we read The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. In this book, a little boy woke up to a bunch of snow out his window so he bundled up to go and play in the snow. During our fine motor activity, we made paper plate snowman wreaths. We first glued on the snowman's face and hat then we glued his head to his body and place cotton balls onto his body. Then we used our math and cognition skills to match hats and boots together. We matched the correct color and letter. For our sensory and science activity, we painted using frozen paint. Our teachers froze some paints into ice cube trays and let us us a popsicle stick to spread the paint across our papers.
