Today we read Mater and the Ghost Light by Andrea Posner. In this book, Mater, the tow truck, gets told the story of the ghost light and gets really scared. During our math and cognition activity, we recognized different shapes and colors. We had to color each of our spider shapes to match the color that was on the top of our page. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to make a cotton ball ghost. We put glue on our ghost before using our pincher grasp to pick up our cotton balls and place them on our ghosts. For our sensory and science activity, we made watercolor spiderwebs. We painted our spiderwebs and made them a bunch of different colors.
