Today we had our Halloween Trunk-or-Treat indoors since it was such a cold and rainy day. We read the book Mouse's First Halloween by Lauren Thompson. In this book, Mouse takes a walk on a spooky fall night and realizes that not everything is all that scary. For our sensory and science activity, we dressed up in our Halloween costumes. We had friends that were princesses, superheroes, a few paw patrol members, and many other costumes. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we used a marker to make a milk jug Jack O' Lantern. Some of our friends made faces that had two eyes and a silly face and other friends that had multiple eyes and a scary mouth. Then, for our math and cognition activity, we counted costumes and the amount of trick or treat stations we went to.
