It was a fun Tuesday at CLC! Our book for today was Pumpkin Hill by Elizabeth Spurr. We have such a blast listening to our teachers read us books! Our activities were also super exciting. For math and cognition, we worked on shape recognition. We traced along the edges of four different shapes with crayons and discussed which types they were and how many sides they have. Our fine-motor and literacy groups also helped us practice staying on the lines. We grabbed a crayon and traced many different patterns; zig zags, waves, loop-the-loops, and more. We loved all of our activities today but sensory and science was definitely our favorite. We got to clean out the inside of a pumpkin with our hands! It was so messy and goopy and we even got some on the floor... oops! We can't wait to see what fun tomorrow holds.
