We're halfway through our week of learning about our bodies and we are having so much fun! Today we read a book called Here Are My Hands by Bill Martin Jr and John Archambault. This book talks about how we use our body parts to do our daily tasks. During our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to sort bones by size. We sorted the larger bones together and then did the same for our small bones. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we made our letter 'E' craft. This week we learned that the letter 'E' is for eyes so we colored in our letter 'E' and placed stickers that look like eyes onto our paper. For our sensory and science activity, we looked into our sensory bin filled with body parts. The sensory bin also had mirrors in it which we used to look at our own parts of our body.
