It's Friday and that means it was our last day learning about superheroes and princesses. Today we read Part-Time Princess by Deborah Underwood and illustrated by Cambria Evans. A little girl goes to bed imagining herself as a princess that wears gowns and goes to balls and each she wakes up realizing that her royal adventures start to become more realistic. During our first activity, we built castles with the magnetic tiles using our sensory and science skills. Our castles were all different sizes and colors. In our literacy and fine motor activity, we did some sign language practice. We learned the sign language for princess, prince, and hero. For our last activity, we used our math and cognition skills to measure how tall our CLC superheroes are. We measured each other using legos and counted to see how tall we were.
