Happy Friday! We have such a fun week learning about the rainforest. Today we read The Jungle Book adapted from the Mowgli stories by Rudyard Kipling. The main character in this book loves growing up in the forest with his animal friends and they like to go on many adventures. This morning we had another fun water day out in the sun. For our first activity, we took our fine motor and literacy skills to make a card. Our teachers helped us write 'I love you to pieces' inside the card and then we took the time to draw different pictures and write our names in the card. During our sensory and science activity, we took toy frogs and made them slide down the waterfall slide. Once they made it to the bottom we took a ruler and measured how far the frogs went. We also played leap frog for our math and cognition activity.
