It's Friday and we have had so much fun learning about flowers this week. Today we read Dandelions: Stars in the Grass by Mia Posada. We learned about how a dandelion grows and how they turn into fluffy balls of seeds. These seeds then get blown away and carried into the sky until they fall to rest and grow another dandelion. In our first small group activity, we matched letters using our cognition and math skills.  For our other small group activity, we used our sensory and science skills to take a look in our flower sensory bin. Our last activity that we did today was our large group activity called an "I love you this much" craft for Mother's Day. We did this activity by tracing our hands and coloring them in using our fine motor and literacy skills. Flowers were fun but now we are excited for our theme for next week: The Circus!
