What a great week we have had learning about our five senses!  Today, we focused on smells.  Jingle bells and Christmas songs have been motivating us during music and movement as well as some songs about our senses.  Ms. Gina read Zinnia's Flower Garden by Monica Wellington.  For literacy and fine motor, Ms. Megan assisted them with outlining their names in glue and sprinkling Jello mix over it with a color of their choice for the scratch and sniff name activity.  For sensory and science, Ms. Adrienne helped make "scented shapes" by using a gingerbread ornament recipe and cookie cutters.  For math and cognition, Ms. Susan handed out popsicle sticks, pom poms and glue so each child could make their own ornaments.

Friendly Reminders:

CLC will be closed from December 21st-January 4th for Christmas Break.
