We are getting so close to our Winter Break!!  Since we are talking about our five senses, we read "Picnic! A Day in the Park," by Joan Holub.  The kids enjoyed listening to the book about all of the yummy foods that you can taste.  For music and movement, we sang and danced with bells to Winter songs.  For our sensory and science activities, we test tasted marshmallows and pretzels. The pretzels were salty and the marshmallows were sweet.  During our literacy and fine motor activity, we watched Ms. Adrienne write the word "ornament" on the big white board and she made a "Grinch" ornament craft with us. Then, Ms. Susan came and made "O" shaped ornaments with us for math and cognition.
