Today we read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr and John Archambault and illustrated by Lois Ehlert. For our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to see if a ball was in or out. We all took turns throwing a foam apple into a basket and learning that if the apple makes it in the basket it is in but if it doesn't make the basket then it is out. For sensory and science, we did a hard and soft sensory experience. We learned that putty can be hard and that shaving cream was soft. We also did a circle the opposite reading and used our literacy and fine motor skills to match the correct opposite.

Friendly Reminders:

Children's Learning Center will be closed August 17th-21st for Teacher Work Week. The 2020-2021 session begins Monday, August 24th.
