Today we read Look Out Kindergarten Here I Come! by Nancy Carlson.  For small groups we climbed the rock wall comparing high and low to practice our gross motor development and math and cognition.  We also drew shapes on white boards.  For language and literacy, we drew the letter of the week "z" for zebra on black paper with white crayons.  For sensory and science, we played with play dough and made shapes.  We also practice different emotions with our faces.  Many of our friends are off to kindergarten this year and we are saying our "goodbyes" this week.  We are thankful we have worked with and watched our little friends grow! It is bittersweet because we will miss them, yet so proud of their accomplishments and we know they will do wonderful things moving forward!

Friendly Reminders:

CLC is closed next week, August 17th-21st for Teacher Work Week.  The 2020-21 school session begins August 24th.
