Today we read I Spy Letters written by Jean Marzollo. In this book, we learned some words that started with each letter of the alphabet. During our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to recognize different shapes. We recognized each shape on our paper and we also found that same shape in our room. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we recognized each letter on our page as we colored in our shapes that were also on that page. Then we used our sensory and science skills to look into our sensory bin that had lots of letters in it. We had letters of all different sizes and colors as well as some silly looking pipe cleaners.
