Today we read Wheels by Judy Nayer and illustrated by Chris Reed. This book told us what wheels can help us do including taking us places and how they help us move heavy things. For our sensory and science activity, we made a wind car race. Each of our friends got a small car and a straw so that they could blow into the straw to push the car across the table. Then we used our math and cognition skills to finish some transportation patterns. We followed each pattern by color and found the correct ending. During our last activity, we used our literacy and fine motor skills to make construction cone names. We took our construction cones that had our letters that are in our names on them and glued them in order.
