Happy Wednesday! Today we read a book called One Mitten by Kristine O'Connell George. In this book, this little girl lost one of her mittens so she found other activities to do with her remaining mitten until she found her matching mitten. In our math and cognition activity, we made candy cane patterns. We dipped our finger into the red and white paint to make our candy cane patterns. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to make homemade holiday cards. Our teachers wrote happy holidays on the front and then our friends drew pictures on the inside of the card. For our sensory and science activity, we made coffee filter trees. We colored all over our coffee filter and then with help from a teacher, we folded it into a tree shape. Then we dipped it into some water and watched the colors spread throughout the tree.
