Hooray, it's Friday! Today we learned all about touch. We read the book Grains by Heinemann Raintree. This book was all about the different grains we have and how they can help us. For our first activity today, we did math and cognition. With this activity we had letters frozen in big ice cubes and we had to find different ways to melt them to see what letter we had. For our sensory and science activity we played a potato head game. With this game we had to find all of our five sense body parts to put on our potato head. For our last activity we did fine motor skills and literacy. With this one, we had body parts cut out and we had to glue them in the place they belonged on our body pictures. We've learned so much this week!
