Happy Friday! Today we read Farm Animals by Wade Cooper. This book walks us through the farm animals and what they sound like. During our math and cognition activity, we counted and wrote the number of animals that were on our cards. We had cards that had 10 horses, one that had 4 goats, and so on. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make farm animals using play dough. We used play dough cut outs to make all of our animals. For our last activity, we learned some farm sign language using our literacy and fine motor skills. We learned the farm words: chicken, egg, cow, and pig. We also had a yummy apple owl that Ms. Tammy made us for snack!
