Happy Friday! Today we read Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Mouth by Beverly and David Fiday. This book is about why we have each of our body parts and what we couldn't do without them. During our math and cognition activity, we used cotton swabs as bones to make shapes. We made a square, rectangle, diamond, and triangle. For our next activity, we used our literacy and fine motor skills to learn some body part sign language. We learned the sign language for eyes, legs, body, and hands. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make play dough faces and bodies. We made all of our facial features with the play dough.
