We all had a fun four day weekend but we are so glad to be back to CLC today! Today we read When We're Together by Claire Freedman and Jane Chapman. In this book, the family of rabbits all agree that doing things together is a lot more fun than doing it by yourself. For our sensory and science activity, we made an all about me face. We made our faces to look like ourselves with the same colored eyes, hair, and any other facial features that we have. We then traced the names of some of our family members using our literacy and fine motor skills. We traced brother, sister, father, mother, and baby and then we colored the pictures in. During our math and cognition activity, we counted little people in the play house. Using these people, we participated in dramatic play and constructed different families!
