Happy Wednesday! Today we read A Snake Grows Up by Melvin and Gilda Berger. This book talks about different facts about snakes and how they grow. For our first small group activity, we used our cognition skills to identify rainforest animals while tracing the patterns of how they might move. In our other small group, we made rainforest trees. To make our trees we glued a brown strip of construction paper down for our trunk and then we took our sensory and science skills to glue on green tissue paper for the leaves. During our large group activity, we took our fine motor skills and made fingerprint ants. We stamped our finger with a stamp pad and drew on little legs and antennas. We also celebrated Ms. Lauren's birthday today!
