Today we had another great water day where we played in some shaving cream and jumped in the sprinkler. For our story today, we read Curious George Goes Camping by Margret and H.A. Rey. During our sensory and science activity, we used some of our playground toys to build tents outside. We used towels and outdoor cushions to make our tents. We then used our fine motor skills to create a campsite of our very own with crayons. We drew things that we would see by a campfire like some people, a tent, or some trees. For our last activity, we played a camping shadow matching game by using our math and cognition skills. We have had such a fun week learning about camping.
