Happy Friday! It is the last day that we are learning about the ocean and beach. Today we read The Bravest Fish by Matt Buckingham. This book is about a fish that wakes up one day and can't find any of his other fish friends in the ocean so he has to be brave to go on an adventure and find them. During our large group activity, we practiced some ocean sign language using our literacy and fine motor skills. We learned the sign language for fish, water, boat, and turtle. We then also got into a small group to do some sea creature exercise. We used our cognition skills to do these different exercises that included twirling like dolphins, swimming like fish, and chomping like a shark. For our sensory and science activity, we looked into our sensory bin for some more buried treasures in our other small group.

CLC will be closed on Monday, July 5th through Friday, July 9th for our Summer break. We will resume our Summer session on Monday, July 12th.
