Happy Thursday! Today, during story time, we read The Wind Blew by Pat Hutchins. This book is about how the wind can blow so hard that it can pick items up and carry them far away. For our sensory and science activity, we took a look in our weather sensory bin. Our sensory bin was filled with raindrops, lighting bolts with letters, and magnifying glasses for looking at the different items. In our fine motor group, we took different colored construction paper and ripped it into smaller pieces. Using these pieces of paper, we made a construction paper rainbow. We also used our math and cognition skills to color a number 4 coloring page and trace the word "four". There's one more day to learn about weather and we can't wait!
