Today we read Busy Squirrels by Melvin and Gilda Berger and The Bear Next Door by Ida Luttrell.  Then, we danced to our favorite forest animal songs.  Next, we got into small groups and did some fun activities.  For literacy and fine motor we made shape art using a kite for the letter "k".  For sensory and science we made forest animal Playdough.  For literacy and fine motor, we practiced name writing.
