Today we read Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh during circle time. Then we got into small groups to do our small group actitivies. For our math and cognition, we went to the sensory bin and grabbed a handful of colored dots and counted how many of one color that we picked up. In our literacy and fine motor group, we made our letter of the week creation. We drew something that started with the letter C and practiced writing the letter C. For our science and sensory group, we all gathered around a table and watched our science recipe of a rainbow walking. We took 3 cups of water and put red, yellow, and blue food coloring in them and then we took 3 more cups and place them all in a circle. Next we took paper towels and connected all 6 cups and watched the water travel up the paper towels and into the empty cup.
