Welcome back from the holiday weekend! This week we are talking about colors! Today we read A Color of His Own by Leo Lionni. Next, we got into small groups. For language and literacy, we listened to a book on tape called Our Library by Eve Bunting and Illustrated by Maggie Smith. Then, for sensory and science, we used brown finger paint to paint their hands and used their hands to make tree branches. At last, we matched color words to the same color crayons for math and cognition.
Friendly Reminders:
Please bring your child's school supplies if you haven't already. Please bring a warmer change of clothes for their cubbies as the weather is changing.
