Today we read Gilbert the Great by Jane E. Clarke and Funny Farm by Mark Teague. For literacy and fine motor, we practiced writing our names. We built our own ice cream cone for our math and cognition group. Then in our sensory and science group, we made our own ice cream. We mixed all of our ingredients up and put some of the mix in a small bag and zipped it up. Then we put the small bag inside of a bigger bag that had ice cubes in it and zipped up the bigger bag then we shook up the bag. Once the bag was pretty shook up we placed it into a bowl and put it in the freezer. We were able to try our ice cream right before lunch.
