During circle time, we watched another short video about rainforests. It showed where they were located around the world and described the four layers which are home to different types of plant and wildlife. As the first small group activity, we played BINGO by identifying common animals. We rolled a special die and graphed what animal we landed on for the second activity. After each friend had a turn, we interpreted the graph by counting which animal had the least and the most rolls. The third small group created their very own rain sticks! We filled the inside of paper towel tubes with aluminum foil coils, and either rice or lentils, before taping off the ends so we could listen to the soothing sound. It was a wonderful Wednesday!
