Today, at circle time, we read Grow Flower, Grow! After reading, we talked about what flowers need to grow. For our first small group activity, we explored the sensory bin and practiced our gardening skills. We used shovels to scoop soil into flower pots and chose various types and colors of flowers to fill our pots. Next, in our second group, we used our imaginations with shapes. We identified and used a variety of colored foam shapes to create a flower scene on paper. Then, all together, we painted something for the special women in our lives. It was a magnificent Monday!
