Today, at circle time, we read Pick Up the Park. We discussed the importance of Earth Day and how our actions affect the environment. For our first small group activity, we helped clean up the classroom by picking up "alphabet trash" and sorting it into designated trash bins. We matched and continued patterns with blue, green, and clear gems in our second group. Then, as our last activity, we read an interactive story and conducted an experiment to see how pollution affects fish in our waters. We had a great Monday!
