Continuing our prehistoric theme, we read Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs at circle time. For our first small group activity, we got a look at actual sizes of familiar dinosaurs. We compared the height measurements of several different kinds, and even tried to see how many of us it would take to be the same! Our second activity involved mystery dinosaur eggs. We used magnifying glasses to explore the outside and then we used our hands to break them open, using brushes to clean off the dinosaurs that we found, just like paleontologists! As a whole group, we identified our letter of the week (Xx) and used dinosaurs to fill our letter with paint. It was a great Wednesday!
