Today, we celebrated the birthdays of a teacher and CLC kiddo! During circle time, we read Amazing Apples. For our first small group, we compared and counted pictures of apples, then whichever had more got pinned with a clothespin. For our second small group, we did a volcano apple experiment! We put baking soda and vinegar in the center of apples, and we watched them erupt while discussing if the color of the apple made the eruption any different. For our final and large group, we cut out strips of red, green, and yellow paper to glue onto paper plates to make our own apples. We had a wonderful Wednesday.
