Today, during circle time, we read The Big Red Apple. For our first small group, we put together apple puzzles by counting seeds and matching them to the corresponding numbers. For our second small group, we practiced position words such as under, above, behind, and on with an apple and a tree! For our final and large group, we painted and stamped with apple halves and we used red, green, and yellow paint just like the apple colors! We had a terrific Tuesday.
