For circle time today, we read Little Owl's Night. Our first small group activity involved feeding the raccoon! First we identified numbers on fish, and then we had fun putting them in the raccoon's mouth. For our second small group, we helped raccoons find their hiding places, and then we practiced moving the raccoons around, describing their positions to our friends. As our whole group activity, we used brown finger paint to make animal tracks. Even though most of our tracks became covered with more paint, we still had a blast using our fingers! It was a terrific Tuesday!
