To end our week on forest animals, we focused again on bears. We read Hibernation at circle time, and talked about how many animals escape the cold weather of winter. For our first small group, we used our special tools to place pom-poms on bear paws as we counted. We conducted a gummy bear experiment for our second small group activity. We took turns filling cups with different liquids, and dropped in gummy bears while we discussed our predictions. Then, we matched letter stickers to letters on our teddy bears as our whole group. We even decorated our bears when we were finished! It was a fantastic Thursday!
