To continue our picnic week, we read Claude Has A Picnic. We identified the pattern of the picnic blanket in the book, and then created our own patterns for one small group. In our second small group, we explored watermelon scented sand in the sensory table. For our whole group, we weaved picnic blankets. We even colored food and people we would want at our very own picnics. It was a terrific Tuesday!
