Today was a terrific Tuesday! We had an awesome start of the day. CLC had a special visitor, a local police officer. She talked briefly about what cops do for their job, the kids got to sit in the patrol car, and they were able to turn the lights on and off. Next, were group activities.  In the first group, the kids got to trace their name on a police badge. In the second group, the kids got to explore with play-doh and create a face for the police officers. Last but not least, everyone got to play a fun game of red light, green light. Tuesdays are definitely terrific.

Today was a marvelous Monday. To start things off, we had an awesome visitor! Miss Karen, from our public library read a silly story, and taught everyone a super cool space ship song. Next, were our three group time activities. In the first group, we had sort books by whether they were big or small. In the second group, the kids got to explore torn up news paper and ABC letters in the sensory bin. Finally, in the last group everyone gathered together at the tables and colored a super awesome community helpers book. Monday was a great day at CLC.

This Thursday was an amazing day! First, to get things started, we read Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf.  Next, were group time activities. In the first group, we got to weigh leaves and acorns and we got to see which one weighs more. Next, we got to trace the letter  "I"  for this week's letter of the week. Last but not least, we got to make leaves for a tree with our finger prints. Today was a great day!! Enjoy the long weekend!

Today was a wonderful Wednesday!! First, to start the day off, we all gathered around circle time and read We're Going on a Leaf Hunt! Next, we took advantage of the beautiful weather today.  The highlights of the day were sliding down the slide, chasing friends, and riding in the wagon. They were big hits on this wonderful Wednesday.

Today was a terrific Tuesday!  To start things off, we read The Biggest Leaf Pile. Next, during our group time actives, we broke up into three groups. First, we matched colorful leaves with letters on them. Suddenly, on your mark get set go... we got to race by seeing who could put the acorns in the container the fastest. Finally, we got to paint a pretty picture by rolling an acorn through paint. Today was a wonderful fall day!!!
