Today, during circle time we read The Best Nest. For one of our small groups we made ground water. We used rocks, sand, soil, and water to create our own ground water. For our other small group we discussed recycling and sorted materials by glass, plastic, metal, and paper. For our large group we used green and blue paint on a plate and made our own Earth. We had a fantastic Friday!

Today, during circle time we read Teachers. For one of our small groups we used feathers and sticks to make patterns. For our other small group we measured how many rain drops would fit in a table spoon. For our large group we made nature faces! We used sticks, leaves, and grass to make faces on paper. We had an amazing day!

Today, during circle time we read Under The Apple Tree. For one of our small groups we explored the sensory bin, and found worms! For our other small group we wrote letters and made designs in bird seed. For our last small group we painted by using sticks as our paint brush. We had an awesome day!

Today, during circle time we read What Lives in a Tree. For one of our small groups we sorted sticks by their size. For our other small group we explored leaves and grass on the light table. For our last small group we identified words like bird, egg, tree, nest and more and then put them on our word wall. We had a super fun day!

Today, during circle time we read Robins. For one of our small groups we used buttons to lace feathers with. For our other small group we made bird feeders. We put peanut butter on toilet paper tubes and then rolled them in bird food.  For our large group we matched numbers on stickers to numbers written on tree branches. We had an awesome day!
