Today, during circle time we read I Need an Easter Egg! For one of our small groups we explored gravity with easter eggs. We took Easter eggs and rolled them down a ramp and discussed how fast they went! For our other small group we painted with Easter eggs. We used half of an egg and painted and watched as circles appeared! For our large group we got to go outside and have an Easter egg hunt. We had a super fun day back at school!

Today, during circle time we read Happy St. Patrick's Day, Curious George. For one of our small groups we explored the light table by using colored shapes to build. For our second small group we chose a clover with a number written on it, and then we put the corresponding amount of clothespins on it! For our last small group we drew on rainbows! We drew in salt and shaving cream that was put on top of rainbows, and were able to see the colors peaking through. What a great way to end the week before break!(:

Today, during circle time our star of the week shared his board with us! For our first small group we did "Leprechaun Says", like Simon Says, but we did things using little leprechaun papers. For our second small group we made contact paper collages. We took pieces of all shades of green paper, and stuck them to contact paper to make a collage. For our large group we made St. Patrick's Day foam. We took shaving cream, green water color paint, and gold coins and made a bit of a mess! We had a fantastic St. Patrick's Day.

Today, during circle time we read St. Patrick's Day. For one of our small groups we used gold coins and clovers to make patterns. For our second small group we explored the sensory bin. It was filled with confetti and pots of gold! For our large group we went on a clover hunt. We got to go outside and look for clovers and daisies to use to make a collage. We had a great day!
