Today, during circle time we read Underneath My Apple Tree. For our first small group, we put apples in water color paint to watch them change colors. For our second small group, we sorted red, yellow, and green beads. For our final small group, we traced our letter of the week, "E" and then colored it in. We had a terrific Tuesday.

Today, during circle time we read The Apple Count Down. For our first small group, we traced numbers 1-10 on apples. For our second small group, we identified the different parts of an apple. For our final small group, we used out fingerprints to make "apples" on trees. We identified the numbers written on the trees, and then put that many finger prints. We had a marvelous Monday.

Today, we enjoyed the awesome Fall weather all morning! In the afternoon is when we did our final activities for our colors theme! Our first activity was putting together puzzles by identifying the pictures and their colors. For our second activity, we matched crayons by their color. For our final activity, we dipped black paper in a mixture of water and clear nail polish, and it turned into rainbow paper! We had a fantastic Friday. 

Today, during circle time we read Pinkalicious. For our first small group activity, we dipped our fingers in paint, and then used our finger prints make a rainbow. For our second small group activity, we colored crayons by identifying the color names written on each crayon. For our final small group, we found and identified numbers 1-3 on a work sheet, and then colored them by the color key that was provided. We had an awesome day.
