Today, during circle time we read The White Bunny's Color Book. For our activities, we got to make process art and blend different colors of paint together to see what the ggoutcome would be. We also got to do an I-Spy color hunt around the classroom, and find toys of whatever color the teacher called out. We had a wonderful Wednesday.

Today, during circle time we read A Color of His Own. For our first activity, we matched crayon boxes by identifying letters and matching the upper and lower case. For our second small group, we used colored pieces of ice to color over our names on card stock. For our final small group, we put puzzles together by matching pictures to their color name. We had a terrific Tuesday.

Today, during circle time we read The Crayon-Box that Talks. For our first activity, we practiced tracing the letter "D". For our second small group, we did an experiment with milk, food coloring, and soap to watch the colors blend or jump from their spot. For our final small group, we sorted pom-poms by their color and identified them when we did. We had a marvelous Monday.

Today, during circle time we read Bigger Than Daddy. For our first small group activity, we used soap and water to clean animals that some of us have as pets. For our second activity, we did a letter hunt to find our letter of the week "C", and colored each one that we found. For our final activity, we colored in the bars on a bar graph, to identify how many kids were each age, and talked about which one had the most. We had a great day!

Today, we did our fun activities outside! Our first activity, we danced along with the song head, shoulders, knees, and toes, to identify different parts of our bodies. For our other activity, we stood up if a teacher called something out that we identified with. Such as, if we had a dog at home, if we had siblings, how old we are, and hair and eye color. We had a super fun Wednesday.
