It's Friday, yay! Mrs. Ashley spent her last day with us teaching us all about proteins and how they help make us strong. We got to identify different toy foods that were proteins, and then we held them to do stretches with! We had a fantastic Friday.

We're back at it again; learning how to eat healthy and take care of our bodies! Mrs. Ashley taught us all about different types of dairy products and how they help our bones and teeth become superhero strong. We got to play a matching game with pictures of dairy food, and we also got to play a game to practice brushing our teeth! We had a super fun day.

Today, Mrs. Ashely taught us all about fruits and vegetables! We got to read a book identifying different types of fruits and vegetables, and then we got to pick a toy fruit to do stretches with! After we talked about our favorite types of fruits and vegetables, we got to try raspberries! What a tasty Wednesday.

Today, Mrs. Ashley came back again to teach us how to eat healthy! We learned all about grains and took turns identifying different types of grains. We even got to play a silly game where we tried walking with our grain on our heads and tried our best not to drop them. After we discussed why grains are good for us, we got to make necklaces out of noodles! We had a terrific Tuesday.

Today, during circle time we read Doc McStuffins Boo to You. For our first small group activity, we practiced visual discrimination by matching ghosts by their shape and facial expressions. For our second small group activity, we practiced writing our names on pumpkins and then we got decorate them. For our final small group activity, we used glue and salt to make 3D spider webs! We had a freaky Friday!

We spent circle time reliving Halloween by reading, Jack- O'-Lanterns. Our activities went perfectly with our book by matching jack-o'-lantern mouths to their corresponding shape. We also got to do pumpkin bowling! Lastly, we explored pumpkin seed slime and pretended it was pumpkin guts. We had a super fun day.
