Today, during circle time we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? For one of our small groups we got to play a game! We rolled a die, and whatever color it landed on we found the matching colored animal. For our other small group we made bracelets after identifying animals and their colors. For our large group, we made secondary colors, using water and food coloring. We had an awesome day.

Today, we got to play in water!! We were also lucky enough to have popsicles.. you know, to cool us off(:

Today, during circle time we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. For one of our small groups we explored the sensory bin, and found all the foods that the caterpillar ate. For our other small group we made a caterpillar out of the letters in our names. For our large group we made dots with our finger prints to correspond with numbers. We had an awesome day.

Today, during circle time we read Mister Seahorse. For one of our small groups we counted the tentacles on an octopus, by putting clothespins in the corresponding spots. For our other small group we painted seahorses with paint mixed with sand. For our large group we traced a letter with confetti paper, and then put rubbing alcohol on it so the colors would bleed through. We had an awesome day!

Today, we got to enjoy Donuts with Dad! For circle time, we read Way Down in the Deep Blue Sea. For one of our small groups we drew shapes in sand. For our other small group, we explored the sensory bin and found gold coins with letters and even our names on them! For our last small group we did a science experiment with salt water, sugar water, and water with baking soda to see if our gems would sink or float! We had a fantastic Friday!!
