Today, was all about having fun in the sun! We enjoyed our water day so so much!(:

Today, during circle time we read Charlie Needs a Cloak. For one of our small groups we sorted rocks by the ones that had a star or a moon on them. We also put them in a basket, shoot the basket up, and then identified which rock's shape was facing up. For our other small group we traced our names with rope! For our large group, we painted cactuses. We had a super fun day.

Today, we got to spend our circle time with Ms. Coli from the library! For one of our small groups we matched upper and lower case letters by using horses, and putting them in their stables once we found the match. For our other small group we explored silver in the sensory bin. For our large group, we made cowboys out of shapes! We had an awesome day.

Today, during circle time we read Whistle. For one of our small groups we made s'mores chex mix to take home! For our other small group we made play-dough with hot chocolate mix. For our large group we painted with marshmallows on sticks! We painted with red and yellow paint and made orange. We had a fantastic Friday.

Today, during circle time we read Firefly Night. For one of our small groups we looked at lightening bugs on the light table. We looked at different colored yellows underneath the lightening bug cutouts. For our other small group we rolled dice, and whatever number we got is how many finger-print fireflies we put on our jars! We had an awesome day.

Today, during circle time we read Just Me and My Dad. For one of our small groups we used pictures to do story telling. For our other small group we went fishing! After we caught a fish, we identified its color and the shape drawn on it. For our last small group we went on a nature walk, and made bracelets out of our findings. We had an awesome first day camping!
