Today, we got to enjoy our breakfast with our Star of the Week's Mom and Nana! For circle time, we read Cloud. For one of our small groups, we explored with water beads in the sensory bin. For our other small group, we used pipe cleaners to make our own sun, and then counted how many sun rays there were. For our large group, we made pet clouds! We had an awesome day.

Today, we got to go on a field trip! We got to spend our morning at My Playhouse, and oh boy did we have a blast! We are so thankful they allowed us to come, and that we had the help of multiple parents to make it happen. Thank you to everyone who made our Monday not feel like just a Monday(:

Today, we got to have muffins with our Moms for breakfast! For circle time, we read Mouse's First Spring. For one of our small groups we had to spell our names using flowers! For our other small group, we played a game that related to our book. For our large group, we all chose a flower without any petals, that had a number next to it, and we took petals off of a real flower and put however many the number was around the blank flower. We had a fantastic Friday!

Today, during circle time we got to watch a video about Cinco de Mayo. For one of our small groups we made maracas! We used plastic eggs and filled them with rice to give off the same sound as a maraca. For our other small group we found a hidden message under foil, and the painted over it. For our large group we made panchos! We had a blast celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

Today, during circle time we read The Happy Bee. For one of our small groups we put white flowers into colored water, to see if it would have any effect on the flower. For our other small group we got to play a game! We took turned rolling dice, after they landed on a number we used a bug to fly over to that number on a strip of paper. For our large group we transferred pollen from flowers to the bee-hives! We had a super fun day.

Today, during circle time we read Dandelion. For one of our small groups, we did mommy and me puzzles. For our other small group, we got to go outside and hunt down dandelions. For our large group we got to paint a present for a loved one. We had a fantastic day!

Today, during circle time we read Sunflower Life Cycle. For one of our small groups we matched pictures of flowers. For our other small group we practiced our cutting skills, and cut up flowers and their stems. For our large group we got to explore with play-dough. We had a fun day!
