Today, we read A is for Apple. As we went through identifying each letter we all said the word that went along with the letter and we pointed out the first letter of everyone's name. It was very fun! We colored coffee filters red and then sprayed them with water bottles to make the color spread. Next, we made patterns with our apple pictures. We also opened and closed ziplock baggies to exercise our fine motor precision. We also welcomed our new friend, J! It was a busy and exciting day!

Today, we read Colors and labeled the color of the items on each page and on our own shirts. We made contact paper apples and talked about the colors we used. We also sorted apples by size and color. One little friend even made a pattern! She was so proud!

It's Apples week!Today, we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We went on a apple picking hunt around the classroom and then used tongs to pick the apples up when they were in the sensory table. Next, used our hand eye coordination to put q-tips into the holes of a parmesan container and with lacing beads. We also sang, danced, and played on the playground.

Today, we read Families. We explored tactile balloons feeling the different textures of each balloon and guessing what was inside of them. We compared sizes of animals sorting them by big and little and sorted our family members by boys and girls. We love to see pictures of our families when we are at school! We also stamped with pet and house stamps.

B just really likes the puppy book!

Stamping our papers...and our faces!

We thought our playground might be a little wet today, so when in doubt...get a box out!

The kiddos loved it!
