Today we danced and played in the motor...thanks to our cold weather. Our little friends helped with rearranging our room and putting together a new floor mat. We read Welcome Spring and watched the snow cover our playground. We played with play dough squishing, squeezing and pounding it with our hands and tools. 

 

Today after breakfast we play with our pet hamster, Oreo. The kids love to chase him around while he runs in his ball. We played in the motor room. We were swinging, jumping, climbing, singing, dancing and spinning. We read one of our books for the week Woolly's Walk. For art, we explored art materials and painted with cotton balls. 

Today we played in the motor room and danced around with scarves. On our way to and from the motor room we sang "Follow the Leader" and walked in a line. Some of us worked on our hand print lambs. We sang "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and made music with shakey eggs and maracas. 

Today we played with our new classroom pet hamster, Oreo. Our little friends were so excited to see him this morning we had to play with him before we even sat down for breakfast. This week's theme is "Out Like a Lamb" so we started to make our little lambs using our favorite technique, hand print art. We also explored through our matching patches and matched textures and pictures. We danced to music in the motor room and played outside on the big playground too!

This morning we arrived to our classroom to find leprechaun footprints all over the place! He danced on our potty, he opened our refrigerator and drank our milk, and drew on our mirrors! The children really enjoyed finding and following the footprints. We played outside, took turns rolling balls down our ball tunnel, and made shamrocks by bell pepper stamping.

We had a very busy day today. We mixed blue and yellow paint with our paint brushes to make green to paint our giant four leafed clover. We finger painted leprechaun beards. We had a blast swinging on our trapeze swing in the motor room, we had a shamrock hunt, and blew bubbles outside.
