Today we read Buster Cat Goes Out by Joanna Cole and illustrated by Rose Mary Berlin. Buster sneaks out of his apartment one morning behind his owner, Mr. Huggs and took an adventure in the elevator to the roof of his apartment. For our first activity, we built pet words using our literacy and fine motor skills. Then we used our math and cognition skills to put together tangram pet puzzles. The tangrams had a bunch of different shapes that we recognized as we put them together. During our sensory and science activity, we looked in our pet sensory bin. As we looked at each of the pets and we talked about who has pets what what kind they are.
